BSc; MCouns; MPACFA; MACA

Blair is an accredited counsellor and psychotherapist. Blair has completed a Master of Counselling and has undergone extensive training in Systemic Family Constellations and Somatic Experiencing (trauma recovery). Blair is also an accredited meditation and mindfulness teacher and a youth mentor, making him a nurturing male advocate for many young people.

Blair works with school aged children and adults presenting with a range of issues including generalised anxiety, mood concerns, emotional dysregulation, social challenges, self-esteem issues, anger mismanagement, grief and loss, extreme stress, adrenal fatigue/burnout, insomnia, lack of purpose, and adjustment difficulties including family separation and/or relationship breakdown. Blair also enjoys supporting his adult clients to identify unconscious emotional patterns acquired from childhood, leaving them empowered to create conscious change.

Blair honours each client’s unique characteristics, experiences, and therapy goals and uses this information to create individualised treatment plans. Blair’s main models of treatment include cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), trauma-informed somatic experiencing (SE), and systemic family constellations therapy. Blair may also draw on his meditation and mindfulness training to provide his clients with practical techniques to regulate their nervous system.

Blair brings a compassionate, calm, and thoughtful disposition to therapy. His gentle nature allows his clients to feel safe in his presence, promoting vulnerability. Blair supports his clients to find meaningful ways to improve their physical vitality, quieten their mind, and claim an embodied sense of self.

Blair is a member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and the Australian Counselling Association (ACA).

Please note that Blair offers his clients a reduced session fee as they are not eligible to claim a Medicare rebate.
