BSocSci; MPsych(Ed & Dev); CEDC-MH; MAAPi

Eve is a registered psychologist with an area of practice endorsement in educational and developmental psychology. Eve has experience supporting individuals across the lifespan and enjoys working with clients from a wide age range. Since registration, Eve has had extensive experience working in both educational and clinical settings helping her clients to flourish. Eve has a passion for working with clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, school refusal, relationship difficulties, and grief and loss.

Eve has a keen interest in treating clients with an eating disorder diagnosis, or those who are experiencing difficulties with body image and/or disordered eating. Eve has undertaken a diverse range of training in this area. Specifically, she has completed enhanced CBT training for eating disorders (CBT-E), accredited by the National Eating Disorders Collaboration (NEDC). Eve offers services to adolescents and adults experiencing difficulties in this area and will work collaboratively with her client’s Care Team when appropriate.

Eve also provides comprehensive educational assessments for children and adolescents presenting with cognitive, learning, and/or behavioural concerns. Eve has extensive experience in assessing intellectual abilities, identifying learning and behavioural difficulties, and assessing for school readiness. Assessment aims to clarify an individual’s strengths and challenges, and provide real-world strategies for clients, parents, and/or schools to improve daily functioning and quality of life. As part of the assessment process, a comprehensive report is provided along with feedback to key stakeholders.

Eve’s main therapeutic model is schema therapy, which assists clients to identify patterns in their thoughts and interpersonal relationships. Schema therapy incorporates principles of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and attachment theory to help clients gain a greater understanding of how they interact in their world on a day-to-day basis. Eve takes a holistic approach to treatment and works with each client to ensure the therapeutic space is safe and welcoming.

Eve is a board-approved supervisor and takes great pleasure in guiding the next generation of psychologists through their university training. Eve is a proud member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi).
